Questions are separated in 4 gropus. IELTS, Cambridge English, Payment and Visas/Documents/Travel.

1) IELTS

Registration

Q: How can I register for the test?
A:
Registration is done online only. Please bear in mind that the availability is different for paper based and computer delivered tests. You can see all available test dates if you click on “Book now” next to the desired test format.

Q: Why can’t I see more dates for IELTS Academic or IELTS General Training test?
A:
Check if you are currently looking at paper based test dates only. Computer delivered IELTS is administered more often than paper based IELTS, and you can check the dates for it via this link.

Q: Do I need an ID for registration?
A:
Yes, during the registration process you will need to upload a scanned or photographed ID. The details you list in the registration form should be identical to the ones listed on the ID, which you must have on you on the test date. Serbian citizens can use either their national ID card or their passport for registration. Test Takers who are not citizens of the country where the test is administered must use a valid passport for this purpose.

Q: How can I upload my ID after registration?
A:
If you have registered for computer delivered IELTS, please log into the Test Taker Portal, click on your test date, and then click on the Test Taker tab. Please click the notification “You need to upload identification document” and follow the instructions on how to upload your ID. If you have registered for a paper based test, please send us your scanned or photographed ID to examinations@britishcouncil.rs.

After the registration

Q: When will I get my schedule?
A:
If you have applied for computer delivered IELTS, you have already created your schedule and it has been sent to you via email. If you have applied for a paper based test, the schedule will be sent to you seven to ten days before the test date.

Q: How can I pay for the test?
A: Check the answers to the frequently asked questions regarding payment in the “Payment“ section.

Q: How can I share my results with an organisation?
A:
During registration, you can list up to five organisations to share your results with after the results have been released. If the desired organisation is one of those with access to the IELTS Test Report Form Verification Service, we will share the results with them online. If they are not, we will send them a verified copy via mail, free of charge. It is possible to request this service from us via email up until the results have been published. Requests for additional Test Report Form(s) after the results have been released will be charged accordingly. Please see further information in the “After the test“ section.

Test day

Q: When should I arrive at the test location?
A:
The registration starts about 30 minutes before the test start time. Remember to bring the ID you used for registration. Good luck!

Q: My Speaking test is at the British Council office. How far away is the test centre used for my other test parts for computer delivered IELTS?
A:
Don’t worry – the distance between the two location is a 25-minute walk. The schedule has been devised in a way that each Test Taker has enough time to reach the test location in time, no matter the test location.

Q: I would like to lodge a complaint regarding the test administration. How can I do that?
A:
We are sad to hear that you feel the need to lodge a complaint. If you wish to do it, you can do so only on the test day by approaching our staff at the location.

Q: When can I expect to see my results?
A:

After the results have been published, Test Report Form is sent the following day via post to the address you listed in the registration form.

Q: How can I change the delivery address?
A:
Please send us information about your new delivery address to examinations@britishcouncil.rs. This change is only possible up until the results have been published.

Q: I am not satisfied with my results. How can I start the Enquiry on Results process?
A:
You can start the Enquiry on Results process up to four weeks from the date when the results were published. The process entails reviewing your answers, but please bear in mind that it does not offer you an insight into your answers. Please fill out the Enquiry on Results form and make a payment for the amount of 10000 RSD. The fee can be used for reviewing one, more, or all test parts. The outcome will be in within one to three weeks. The score can remain the same or improve. If the score has improved, you should send us your current Test Report Form, and we will issue a new, updated Test Report Form. The fee would also be refunded in this case.

Q: How can I share my results with an organisation?
A:
We advise Test Takers to keep the copy we have sent to them and to just make it available for viewing, as Test Takers can receive only one Test Report Form after taking the test. If you wish to officially share your results with an organisation, please send us a filled out Additional Test Report Form. We will then check if the desired organisation is one of those with access to the IELTS Test Report Form Verification Service and share the results with them online, if they are. If they are not, we can issue an additional Test Report Form and send it to them via mail (1000 RSD per form) or DHL courier service (3000 RSD per form).

Q: I took IELTS more than two years ago. How can I get my Test Report Form now?
A:
