PlayUK 2020 consisted of several main segments: Workshops, Masterclasses and Showcase. As Showcase was opened for everyone, you've been given a chance to see different kind of indie games coming from UK and enjoy playing them.

25 January | Live Art Showcase | KC Grad

At 25 January you could deep dive into Showcase once again, followed by "Live Art Showcase" organised in cooperation with GameUP/MadHeadGames. Vanja and Ognjen helped developing illustration and drawing skills, and helped everyone to become a better artist. Afterwards was "Drink&Draw" event.

24 January | Showcase opening and Chipzel live act | KC Grad

Official opening began at 20.00. After showcase opening you could have a chance to enjoy Chiptune (music created for games) concert, by popular British musician Chipzel.

22 January | Jo Twist Lecture | Nordeus Hub

One of the most exciting people in UK gaming industry, Jo Twist OBE was talking about UK gaming ecosystem and explored fields you may wanted to know about.

22 January | Gift | Museum of Applied Arts (closed for public)

BLAST THEORY – Launch of the mobile app
GIFT looks at the idea of ‘gifting’ museum collections through a mixture of physical experiences and digital experiences.
With the app you pick someone you care about. And then you create the perfect digital gift for them on your phone. Choose beautiful objects, choose the perfect soundtrack, wrap it up and send it. Through this project Blast Theory is exploring the future of museums. This event is closed for public.

20-24 January | Workshops and lectures | Nordeus Hub (closed for public)

PlayUK 2020 workshops provided knowledge to young creatives from around the Western Balkans to upgrade skills in narrative, UI / UX design, art, programming and many other fields! Speakers coming from gaming industry, such as Jon Mckellan, Jo Twist, Jodie Azhar and many others shared their experience with our participants! PlayUK 2020 workshops and lectures were closed for public.
