The training of computer science teachers for the application of micro:bits in the fifth grade is realized within our program "21st century Schools" in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development.
We invite all interested teachers, who teach computer science in the fifth grade of primary schools to apply for free online training, which will be realized through the portal petlja.org. Applications are open until Sunday, 28 February, at 6 p.m.
"Training of teachers of informatics and computer science for the application of the micro:bit device within the teaching topic Computing in the fifth grade of primary education" has the status of a program of public interest in accordance with the decision of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development No. 610-00-00075 / 2021-07. The training for IT teachers is accredited for 19 hours.
The training will be open to all teachers in the period from March 2 to March 26, so that all teachers can go through the training at their own pace.
The goal of the training is to reach higher levels of digital competencies of teachers in the field of realization of the teaching topic Computing, using micro:bit devices, creating digital content and computer programs to solve various problems in society, which is changing rapidly due to the development of digital technologies.
