Please note that the final fee may vary depending on your chosen registration route (direct registration or registration through one of our partner centres) and the partner centre’s level within our partnership scheme.
Cambridge exam dates and locations
Selecting a Cambridge exam date that fits your schedule and a location that is easy to reach is key to a successful experience. To provide maximum flexibility, the British Council hosts frequent Cambridge exam sessions in professional environments across the country. We offer numerous venue options in major regional hubs, including Belgrade, Novi Sad, and Niš ensuring you can find a convenient location close to you.
Below you will find our upcoming Cambridge exam dates for both paper-based and digital formats. Please note that digital sessions often provide a faster Cambridge results release date and have longer registration windows. For greater clarity, please note that registration for paper-based exams is subject to a fixed registration period. In contrast, registration for digital exams remains available until the exam reaches full capacity or until 14 days before the scheduled exam date, whichever comes first.

When is the Cambridge English speaking exam?
The Cambridge exam date for your speaking component is determined by our examination centre and will take place within the specific speaking window set by Cambridge English. We will communicate the exact date and time to all candidates via email approximately two weeks before the first exam date. If you have not received this confirmation at least seven days before the Speaking window begins, please contact us for assistance.
It is important to note that for Young Learners, the Speaking exam takes place on the same day as the written components. For all other qualifications, please ensure you monitor your email closely as you prepare for your session. Once you are ready to choose your date and location, you can proceed to the next step of your registration.

To ensure your assessment journey is as smooth as possible, please keep the following logistical details in mind. Because we strive to offer the most current sessions, our registration windows, Cambridge exam dates, and fees are subject to change throughout the year. We recommend checking these sections regularly, as places are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
If you are opting for a digital exam, please remember that these sessions must be attended at a British Council partner venue and are not available to be taken at home. Seats for digital formats are limited, and once a booking is confirmed, candidate transfers between examining centres such as moving your session from Iași to Bucharest are not permitted.
For Young Learners (YLE), we organise sessions thorughout the year and we work in close partnership with schools and institutions throughout Serbia. These Cambridge exam dates are set individually with each partner.
